Biography:

Thor Odinson, as portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Thor: Ragnarok, is the crown prince of Asgard and God of Thunder. Born to Odin and Frigga, he is the elder brother of Loki.

In Ragnarok, Thor returns to Asgard to find his adopted brother Loki impersonating Odin. They search for their father and find him in Norway, where Odin reveals the existence of Hela, their sister, who will be unleashed upon his death.

Following Odin's demise, Hela destroys Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, and banishes him and Loki to Sakaar. On Sakaar, Thor is forced to fight as a gladiator. He befriends Hulk and Valkyrie, and the trio escape Sakaar to confront Hela.

Thor ultimately defeats Hela by unleashing Surtur, resulting in Ragnarok - the destruction of Asgard. He leads the surviving Asgardians aboard a ship, setting course for Earth, now determined to be a wise and capable leader.
